With Lisa Gatenby, you get three people for the price of one.
Like most creatives, Lisa Gatenby refuses to be just one thing. And in her case, that means being three completely different performers. Lisa puts on a big green bow and performs in an educational music duo called The Funtones one day, then switches to adult stand-up material in a comedy club at night, and the next day she performs as Winni Wizard, a 150-year-old wizard who brings magic to kids the way Harry Potter did – except with more fart jokes and less Voldemort.
You can catch Lisa at this year’s Melbourne Comedy Festival in her show Winni Wizard and Her Magical Smells:
In One Weekend Lisa is Three Different Performers.
Saturday afternoon, 2pm: Lisa Gatenby is in the studio recording educational songs as The Funtones, creating music for pre-schoolers that’s currently streaming on Spotify.
Saturday night, 9pm: Lisa is on stage at a comedy club entertaining adult audiences. Different material. Different jokes. Same performer.
Sunday morning: She’s Winni Wizard, a 150-year-old wizard performing for 200 kids. They’re screaming with laughter at fart jokes, funny dances and magic tricks.

From Corporate to Full-Time Performer
Five years ago, Lisa was a corporate retail buyer. Twenty years in the business, leading teams in Australia and the UK, building a successful career in retail planning and buying.
Then she discovered stand-up comedy. Got hooked. And quit corporate life to chase the performer’s dream.
Since then, she’s built not one, but three professional brands:
- Winni Wizard – a 150-year-old wizard character with sold-out shows at Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne Comedy Festival, and Sydney Comedy Festival
- The Funtones – an educational music duo (with Mark Cluning) whose album was nominated for the Michael McGlynn Newcomer Award
- Lisa Gatenby – stand-up comedian who’s opened for Dave Hughes, hosted corporate fundraisers, and presented on Triple M radio
Plus she hosts trivia at the Birmingham Hotel every Thursday, performs medieval characters at Kryal Castle theme park in Ballarat, and pretty much says yes to any gig that comes her way.
She left corporate to become a full-time performer. And like most working performers, that means doing everything.
Here are just a few of the things she’s done:
She’s done dozens of shows as Winni Wizard, including this show at last year’s Melbourne Comedy Festival:
She’s released several albums including this one by The Funtones:
And here she is as a stand up comedian on the Channel 31 series ‘Tell Us Another One’:
The Problem: How Do You Organise a Career This Diverse?
Lisa does stand-up comedy. She’s a 150-year-old wizard for kids. She’s half of an educational music duo. She hosts trivia. She performs at theme parks. She MCs corporate events.
Where does it all go?
When everything lives on one website or social media profile, it’s overwhelming. A parent looking for Winni Wizard has to scroll through adult comedy reels. A comedy booker searching for Lisa’s stand-up credentials wades through educational music videos. A music educator trying to find The Funtones albums gets buried in wizard shows and MC work.
Lisa wasn’t doing too much. She just needed a way to organize it all without everything bleeding together.
The Solution: Three Pages, One Account

Lisa’s personal Milestones Page profile documents everything: stand-up comedy, corporate MC work, Winni Wizard performances, The Funtones music, theme park characters, trivia hosting, the podcasts she’s been on, the films, the TV appearances – her complete career all in one place.
But when a parent just wants to book Winni Wizard, they don’t need to scroll through stand-up comedy reels and corporate MC testimonials. So Winni Wizard has her own dedicated page – just kids’ shows, festival tours, and family content.
When a music educator wants The Funtones’ albums, they don’t need to wade through adult comedy and character work. So The Funtones has their own page – just educational music and streaming links.
One account. Three pages. The flexibility to show everything or focus on one brand – depending on who’s asking.
Why Lisa Needed Three Pages
Lisa Gatenby has built three distinct professional brands since leaving corporate:
Lisa Gatenby (herself) – Stand-up comedian, corporate MC, radio presenter, character performer
Winni Wizard – A 150-year-old wizard character who performs at comedy festivals and kids’ events
The Funtones – An educational music duo creating songs for pre-schoolers
Each brand serves a different audience. Each brand has its own identity. Each brand gets booked separately.
The Complete Picture: Lisa’s Personal Page
Lisa’s personal Milestones Page shows her full range:
- Stand-up comedy
- Multiple Melbourne Comedy Festival shows (including new character “Barb” – a 52-year-old divorcee – in 2025)
- Corporate MC work (fundraisers, weddings, events)
- Radio presenting (Triple M Night Shift, 4 episodes in 2023)
- Winni Wizard performances (all festival tours)
- The Funtones music (both albums, all releases)
- Theme park work (Kryal Castle medieval characters)
- Trivia hosting (Birmingham Hotel every Thursday)
- TV appearances (Channel 31)
- Indy film appearances
- Humanitarian work (clowning trip to India, 2024)
Everything in one place. The complete career.
When someone wants to see Lisa’s full range as a performer, this is where they go. Casting directors can see her versatility. Event planners can see her MC experience alongside her entertainment background. Radio producers can see her hosting credentials.
Lisa’s Stand-Up Comedy Career
Lisa began performing stand-up in 2019 and has since done hundreds of shows at comedy festivals across Australia. She’s opened for Dave Hughes, Dave O’Neil, and Dave Thornton (and many other comedians not named Dave), hosted corporate events, presented on Triple M radio, appeared on Channel 31, and even joined a humanitarian clowning trip to India in 2024, bringing joy to orphanages, remote villages, hospitals, and schools.

Since her switch to full-time performing, Lisa has built an impressive body of work – stand-up shows, The Funtones music, Winni Wizard performances, and more. Her personal Milestones Page documents all of it in one place. But when she needs to show just her group and character, she has a focused profile for that.
The Group Page: The Funtones
Lisa formed The Funtones in January 2022 with Mark Cluning. Originally performing as a trio with a third Funtone, Mark, Lisa and Charlie created educational music for pre-schoolers, performing together until April 2024. Since then, Lisa and Mark have continued as a duo, creating award-nominated albums that stream on Spotify and iTunes.
The Funtones has its own dedicated Milestones Page which lists all The Funtones content so when music educators or parents search for “The Funtones,” they find a dedicated page featuring:
- Links to albums on Spotify, iTunes, and YouTube
- Award nomination (Michael McGlynn Newcomer Award)
- Music videos and animated film clips
- Educational credentials
- Upcoming and Past Shows
- Links where they can buy the Funtones Colouring and activity book
- Website links, photographs, bios and more

The Character Page: Winni Wizard
In October 2022, Lisa created Winni Wizard. Kids love Harry Potter, and Lisa wanted to create a female version of that magic for young audiences to enjoy. Winni is a 150-year-old wizard who performs comedy shows filled with magic, songs, and plenty of jokes (including the occasional fart gag that kids can’t get enough of).
Since her debut, Winni has sold out shows at Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival, and Geelong Comedy Festival, among many others.

Here they can see all the Winni Wizard credentials:
- Upcoming Shows
- Past Shows
- Links to videos
- Links to buy tickets
- Links to the Winni Wizard website
- Links to socials
- Links to the Winni Wizard Youtube channel
Parents find exactly what they need. Kids’ entertainment credentials. Festival reviews. Everything.

The Flexibility You Get
Every Milestones Page account includes:
1 Personal profile (your main identity, your complete career)
PLUS 4 additional profiles you can use for:
- Characters (stage personas, mascots, alter egos)
- Bands or Groups (musical acts, duos, ensembles)
- Teams (sports teams, trivia teams, performance troupes)
- Businesses (production companies, agencies, brands)
Use them however you want.
Lisa uses:
- 1 Personal (Lisa Gatenby – complete career, everything)
- 1 Character (Winni Wizard – just kids’ entertainment)
- 1 Group (The Funtones – just educational music)
She still has 2 profiles available if she:
- Creates a new character (like Barb, her 52-year-old divorcee)
- Starts a production company
- Forms another group
- Wants to showcase her trivia hosting separately
Or you might use all 4 for different characters. Or 2 bands + 2 businesses. Or 3 characters + 1 team. Any combination works.
The point is: You get 5 profiles for $67. Use them however your career needs them.

You Might Need Multiple Pages Too
Maybe you didn’t quit a 20-year corporate career to become a performer, but you might have your own version of Lisa’s situation.
You might be:
- A solo artist with a personal music career AND a member of two different bands
- A photographer who does weddings AND commercial work AND fine art
- A performer who has your own shows AND a character you perform with a troupe
- A musician who teaches AND performs AND composes
- A director with multiple theatre companies or production teams
- An actor who does professional theatre AND corporate training AND voice work
Your personal page can show everything. Your additional pages can focus on specific brands, characters, groups, or businesses.
One account managing multiple professional identities.
Some examples:
A musician might use:
- Personal page: Complete career (session work, solo albums, teaching, everything)
- Band 1 page: Jazz trio (just the trio work)
- Band 2 page: Rock band (just the rock band)
- Business page: Music school they own
A photographer might use:
- Personal page: Full portfolio (all styles, all clients, complete work)
- Business 1: Wedding photography brand (just weddings)
- Business 2: Commercial photography company (just commercial)
- Team page: Photography collective they’re part of
An actor might use:
- Personal page: Complete acting resume (film, theatre, TV, voice, everything)
- Character page: Mascot or recurring character (just that character)
- Team page: Theatre company they founded
- Business page: Acting school they run
The flexibility is yours. Use the profiles however your career needs them.
What Makes This Different?
If you try to solve this problem other ways:
Option 1: Everything on one page
- Result: Parents searching for kids’ entertainment scroll past adult comedy. Comedy bookers scroll past educational music. Everyone sees everything.
- Problem: No focus. Hard for specific audiences to find what they need quickly.
Option 2: Multiple separate websites
- Cost: $500-$2,000 EACH
- Problem: Three brands = three websites = $1,500-$6,000 total. Plus three logins, three separate updates, three maintenance headaches.
Option 3: Multiple social media accounts
- Cost: Free (but incredibly time-intensive)
- Problem: Can’t control presentation, algorithm buries content, no professional URL to share
- Result: Still confusing, content gets lost
Option 4: Try to make LinkedIn or IMDb work
- Cost: Free or subscription
- Problem: Can’t create separate brand identities, limited control over how work is displayed, doesn’t show full picture
- Result: One-dimensional profile that misses most of your work
Milestones Page Multi-Profile:
✅ 5 profiles included (1 personal + 4 additional)
✅ One account manages all of them
✅ Each profile gets its own unique URL
✅ One login for everything
✅ $67 lifetime (not per profile – per ACCOUNT)
✅ Unlimited milestones on every profile
✅ No recurring fees ever
Lisa manages three professional brands for less than the cost of building one website.
And she still has two profiles available if her career expands.
How Lisa Uses Her Three Pages
When parents email asking “Can we book Winni Wizard for our daughter’s 5th birthday?” Lisa sends them Winni’s page link.
They see: Kids’ festival shows, family-friendly videos, parent testimonials, upcoming performances, character information.
They book. No confusion about adult comedy or other work.
When a comedy festival booker asks “What’s your stand-up experience?” Lisa sends them her personal page link.
They see: Opened for Dave Hughes, multiple Melbourne Comedy Festival shows, adult comedy credentials, professional MC work, radio presenting, her complete range.
They book. They can see Winni Wizard and The Funtones listed too if they’re curious about her full career, but the stand-up work is prominent.
When a school asks “Do you have educational music we could use in our pre-school program?” Lisa sends them The Funtones page link.
They see: Award-nominated albums, Spotify streams, educational content, music videos, age-appropriate material.
They book. No adult comedy. No stand-up. Just educational music.
Three different links for three different situations. One account managing all of it.
No explaining. No apologizing. No “ignore this section, I also do other things.” Just the right page for the right audience.

You can show everything on your personal page. And create focused pages for specific brands, characters, groups, or businesses.

Just like Lisa does with her personal page, Winni Wizard, and The Funtones.
